I have loved painting and drawing (and anything right-brained) all my life. I painted and drew as a child, and painted when my children were small while they napped. But for years I had not picked up a brush. So, now I begin again. There is inspiration everywhere, but two highlights for inspiration and sheer fun have been 1. Painting with one of my grandaughters (and if the other one lived in the same city, we would have been painting buddies, too) and 2. painting pets (I admit I have only painted doggie portraits at this point). Having a great time, and hope you enjoy!
